These posts will be dedicated to brilliant ideas we come across in our daily roaming of the net that we think are too smart not to share. We’re always startled by how truly innovative & bright some people are. They inspire, raise the bar & push us to be constantly thinking outside the box. As Interior Designer’s we are frequently asked “what made you think of doing that?” Once in a while it’s our own brilliance (VERY rarely though … LOL) but 98% of the time, we’ve been inspired to come up with the “idea” by a picture we’ve seen or a piece that we’ve read and we are able to adapt the idea into something that could work for a particular “client’s” situation. Love this. I use something similar. I found some straight sided black french wire baskets. Rectangle shape. Since they’re wire baskets with diamond shapes where the wires crisscross (clear as mud?) I didn’t need to punch holes in .. just stack my ribbon spools inside the wire basket and pull ribbon through the wire holes in the side! Sits on a desk in my studio looking chic!
