Owners, Sharon Laxon and Yvonne Vanderkooy have years of interior design, business and product knowledge experience.

Sharon  - Up to the point of my son being born I had always worked clerical jobs in a bank, but when my son turned 6, I decided to live my dream and go back to school to become an Interior Designer … that was 17 yrs ago & I’ve never looked back.  It has afforded me many, many opportunities & I’ve learned so much about running my own business, managing suppliers, the trades & clients expectations.  These skills are invaluable now as I, along with Yvonne, help Interior Designers achieve their own dreams and goals.  Now we want you to succeed!

Yvonne  - Since moving to Vancouver in 1993, I have focused my career on providing products and outstanding service to interior designers, manufacturers, and suppliers as a wholesale representative and agent of design related products. Prior to 1993, I owned and operated my own interior design company in Alberta. My specialty is fabrics and soft coverings but I love the entire process of design. The concept of Layers & Layers has been swirling around in my mind for a long time and I feel very lucky to have the opportunity, with Sharon, to follow my dream and assist interior designers with theirs.
